One of my favorite pastime’s is reading fashion blogs around the world, I find fashion overseas to be fantastic–its so expressive, and chic, with an “I never try too hard” vibe. Hande’s Closet is no exception. Hande’ Closet is a daily photo diary of outfits from a Turkish student studying Physics, who has a flair for putting together outfits like nobody’s business. Lets just say I have never seen a Physics student dress like this. She can recite Newton’s Laws while styling herself in the latest Lanvin, Burberry and Marc Jacobs!
To further enrage the fashion challenged, this stylish, brainiac has the looks to rival–dare I say–some of the most sought after amazons of the Euro catwalk! Can you say Turkey’s Next Top Model? Tyra sign this girl up, better yet give her the top prize and put her in front of the camera with Giles Bensimon. This stunner needs no intro to modeling 101, she’s been posing in front of her Nikon since last year, and already has close to 5,000 views.
Hande’s look is reminiscent of the grunge rock chic look splashed all over the William Rast collection at NY Fashion Week, think: acid wash denim, fur, and tons of studs. Although her look changes often (it can be soft, rock n’ roll, or trendy) it’s always something I can see myself stealing wearing! I love that Hande has been displaying some of her DIY pieces, i.e. her awesome studded beanie! Some of my favorite pics are displayed below, as well as her homemade beanie. Enjoy!
