Vintage Pick Of The Day: U is for Ungaro

Trina Turk launched her colorful fashion brand in 1995 and says there are no bad colors, just bad color combinations. And while so many women despair that they just don’t know how to put colors together, I believe you instinctively know what colors look good on you and which colors flatter you most. It’s all about trusting yourself more and worrying less.

Of course, you can always rely on the experts to help you out. Ease your suffering by choosing prints that pop by designers who know their way around color. For instance, today’s VPOD features an ultra-colorful and ultra-fabulous 1980s vintage silk skirt by Ungaro. With its high waist, side pockets, four buttons and wicked print, simply add a tee or blouse in black or white and you’ll be set to go.

It’s a chic and colorful find for a vintage fashionista!

  1. Trina Turk is my favorite new designer. Her pieces are so fun and summery, and this skirt would look killer paired with a black pair of stilettos and a tight black tucked in tank. I like the buttons– they add some fun detail.
