Cubism—For Your Drinks
Last year around this time of year I began to consider what I would buy for my brother-in-law for Christmas. He was one of those people whom I had known for years, and he was a member of our family, but I didn’t know him well enough to get a really personal gift, and so it required some extra consideration.
Things I did know about said brother-in-law included: he was in law school, he was nearing 30, he liked to drink.
Adding all of these factors together (and after stumbling across a fabulous gift guide in my Wired magazine), I landed on the awesome, and all-empowering, cube jigger. This nifty little, well, jigger, was designed by Josh Owen to compress the six most common liquid measures used to mix alcoholic drinks into the smallest possible dispenser.
I think I did good. The cute little cube jigger now sits prominently on his and my sister’s brand new bar (which is a whole other blog in and of itself).
