‘Tis The Season

It’s that time of year when you start thinking about what you’re going to buy your friends and loved ones for the holidays. Sure, the commercials start a little prematurely, in my opinion, but they get me thinking all the same.
I have one friend who poses a problem for me year in and year out. She’s this free-spirited, peace-loving, wonderfully fun girl, and I love her mostly for how different we are. But therein lies the problem. She’s one of my besties, and so it’s important to me that I get her something that will mean a lot to her. In other years I feel I’ve struck out—with Starbucks gift cards, iTunes gift cards, are you picking up on the theme?

This year I think I’ve struck gold. She has a great studio apartment, but her walls could use a little decoration. When I found this recycled wall art, I immediately thought of my friend. Problem one solved. Now on to the rest of my list….
