Pull Toys: A Classic Toy for Toddlers

Pull toys are classics for toddlers and a toy every new walker should have!  My daughter is turning one next month so I’ve been shopping around for a gift.  I settled on Ducky Duck.  Made by HABA, Ducky Duck is a brightly colored wooden pull toy which was named Toy of the Year in Parents magazine. I love buying toys that are heirloom quality because I think it is really special to pass toys onto your own children that you’ve played with and loved yourself. There are certain toys I buy with this in mind. Wooden toys in particular are usually sturdy and very well made and Ducky Duck is no exception. It’s made from beechwood and brightly colored with child safe paints. When pulled across the floor, Ducky Duck’s feet make a slapping noise as he waddles along.  I can’t wait to see my daughter toddle along pulling this adorable toy behind her.  One day I hope to also see my grandchildren play with this very same toy.
