Spring Trend: The Skinny on J Brand Houlihan Cargo Pants
A lot of designers are doing skinny cargo pants again this season. J Brand Houlihan Skinny Cargo Pants is a newer fresher twist on last Fall’s amazing fitted and flattering J Brand jegging. But for my tastes, it’s difficult to find cargo pants that look feminine enough. The skinny look helps, but basically if they look at all like boyfriend pants, I won’t wear them. I love the new skinnier cargo pant silhouette, it looks great with flat gladiator sandals, wedge sandals or even ankle booties.
When choosing a color, I say if you can wear the Vintage Olive shade at all, go for it! Olive is less boring than the neutral beige ‘Sahara’ shades, while still staying mostly neutral. Also, I love how the Vintage Olive goes really well with both black and brown, and even works as a great catalyst for black and brown in the same outfit.
