yhst-22420639215117_2072_12

Kameleon Jewelry has over 40 sterling silver base pieces and 100+ JewelPops which make up an interchangeable fashion accessory system. JewelPops are non-magnetic and easy to use- just pop them into the base piece and go! Each JewelPop piece fits into a base piece such as earrings, necklaces and rings. They fit very snugly so there is little risk of them falling out and losing them. a Jewel Cap which is a plastic tool made for assisting in swapping out the JewelPop pieces is included with each jewelry design.

JewelPops can be kept safe in a compact made specifically for storing them.  A base piece and a compact with a couple of JewelPops would make a lovely gift for teen or pre-teen girls.

Base pieces range from $14.95-$149.95 and JewelPops run from $20-$29 depending on what they are made out of.

I think these are the best accessory updates for fall: a snood, one statement jewelry piece (a cuff or a ring), dotted tights (as seen at Balenciaga), retro inspired sunglasses (a must have), and cropped gloves. Click on the image above to find where to get them!

Personalize your iPhone with a Unique Case

3G-iPhone-Cases

I just got an awesome 3G “S” iPhone – and I’m betting a lot of iPhone fans out there are with me on this one, not to mention the huge amounts of people who jumped on the bandwagon earlier. I’m in cell phone bliss, the only problem is that I’m afraid the iPhone is fairly fragile. My other phone was kind of a piece, but I had it for 2 ½ years (an eternity in phone years!) and it was relatively bomb proof. I can’t tell you how many times I dropped it and yet it survived.

But I know that one tumble is all it would take to knock me out of my bliss! So I need a durable and good looking iPhone case that will help prevent this, since I’m pretty clumsy. Fortunately, there are plenty of good looking and unique 3G iPhone case options out there.  Which is another pre-requisite for me! Some of these cases and skins are colorful and will add more personality to your phone.

Pretty Summer Solutions for Long Hair

summer_hair_accessories
If you have extremely long hair like I do, summer can present quite a dilemma.  Having all that hair on your neck in the sticky heat can be oppressive. So I’m always looking for the perfect summer hair solution – ways to get my hair off my face and neck that aren’t boring or frumpy. Please no scrunchies or ‘claw’ clips!

Yes, there is the basic ponytail and headbands like this Eugenia Kim knotted  “Portia” style from Barneys are a great solution as well. I also found these sweet bejeweled hairclips at Banana Republic, a pretty way to keep the hair off my face during the warm weather wedding season. The Juicy Couture ponytail holders are fun and colorful are embellished with dangling charms that Juicy fans will love.

Shoes—The 2 Bandits Take Your Boots for a Ride

‘Sunday’ will take you through the week

I’m totally digging these boots accessories from The 2 Bandits, a collection by NYC founders Erica Chan (originally from Cali) and Tamar Wider (from Texas), who cut their teeth in the jewelry industry. Ranging from $40-$167 (with a number of styles on sale now!), the add-ons are handcrafted in brass and quality fabrications. I love the versatility these adjustable bands offer—studded, embroidered, and sweet to rough-and-tumble hardware all giving ample effect without indulging in another pair of boots. Here is a peek at fall, but for the current collection, check the site.

Update Your Living Space with Decorative Pillows

decorativepillows

As a busy mom, I know how hard it can be to keep up with trends around the home.  One of my favorite ways to update living areas quickly is to switch out decorative pillows.  Create a new look instantly by changing your striped pillows to a floral pattern or by trying a new color or a different texture.  Adding accents is a great way to change the look and feel of a room without too much effort or cost.  Go bold!  If you decide you hate it after a few weeks just tone it down or  try something completely new. Express your creativity and have fun with it!

Look G with your 3G

Iphone 3g

The new iPhone 3G is finally here, and it seems like everyone’s trying to get their hands on one. Sure, you can customize your most prized possession with brand new applications of your choosing, but how do you make your 3G truly your own? Check out some cool accessories to individualize and create and your very own 3G style. Perhaps you can purchase your very own iPhone case—zebra print, hot pink, sleek black, whatever you want! Or maybe a sports armband for that morning workout before work. Spoil yourself with more than just applications, and be sure to check out all the handy accessories your 3G has to offer.

Jewels—Ban.do’s Bountiful Corsages

2009_06_30_bando_corsages
Ban.do has made a name for itself with its pretty, playful headbands—feathered, floral, beaded, ribbon-ed and in varieties fit for a flapper, flower child, party girl or high tea connoisseur.

Now, DailyCandy features Ban.do’s fanciful corsages, brimming with vintage silk flowers, neatly held by a brooch pin with safety clasp. My favorites are ‘Lucile‘ (shown top left) in its soft palette of barely pinks and bolder ‘Vivien‘ (shown bottom left), making a statement in orange and coral. Each is a bit of an investment at $225, but it lasts ages longer than the fresh kind, even taking you stylishly into your golden years.
