Balenciaga is on my short list of favorite designers, however in seasons past he has produced few items I can actually wear in my life. Sure there are the occasional leather jackets (love!) and cool skinny black trousers, but also a lot of architectural dresses. I just can’t justify plunking down three grand for a dress I’d wear only once, if ever (I’m practical that way). For Spring 2010, Balenciaga shows chic, edgy futuristic designs that I can easily see incorporated into my wardrobe. The shapes, the cut outs,  the techno fabrics, the amazing footwear – I really loved it all. Check out the collection at Style.com
