October marks the time of year when everything turns pink.  Pink clothing, make-up, hats, accessories it all turns that special pink that signals the support to fight breast cancer.  One in three women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime and it takes a lot of determination, education and courage to get tested and fight it.    Each year TOCCA uses their beauty platform to help raise funds and awareness to help with women battle this disease.  This year they are doing it with a partner, Bright Pink.  Bright Pink is an organization that zeros in on education and support for young women who might be prone to breast and ovarian cancer.

Each time a person purchases TOCCA’s Eau de Parfum Viaggio during the month of October, 50% of the proceeds will be donated to Bright Pink. Included in the Viaggio set are three miniature bottles of perfume including Cleopatra known for its rich Vanilla musk scent infused with notes of bergamot, jasmine and grapefruit.  Stella is comprised of blood orange, freesia, spice lily and sandalwood while Florence rounds out the three Old World inspired parfums with its tantalizing scents of Soft Woods, bergamot, pear and gardenia.  Each one comes in a gorgeous collectible bottle.

The TOCCA Eau de Parfum Viaggio set retails for $45 and can be purchased online at

Breast Cancer Awareness month is upon us, ‘Pink’ products abound—the idea being you buy something for yourself or as a gift, with either partial or all proceeds going to non-profits aiming to help with regards to research, care, and, of course, awareness. The options are seemingly endless, and it can start feeling like big business in and of itself. But the bottom line is that too many of us our affected—ourselves, moms, aunts, children, grandparents, friends, spouses—and I think it’s important not to get cynical as I do believe it makes people think. I have to say, I was heartened by all the pink I saw, from hats to cleats, on Monday night football.

So here are some Pink gems I’ve come across that I thought particularly lovely…
