Impulse Buy of the Week – Christian Siriano Collection for Victoria’s Secret
Christian Siriano is absolutely on fire (and yes, “fierce”)! Since competing on one of my favorite reality shows (pretty much the only one I watch), Project Runway, Siriano has entered into several very creative and smart business ventures which allow him to expand his amazing design sense to areas outside of his runway fashion collections.
He’s signed on to create a line of shoes for Payless to launch during Sept. Fashion Week (also inspired by the same theme as the makeup, which is Egyptian design/hieroglyphics), has shopaholics already chomping at the bit.
Now he’s just launched his very first cosmetics collection for Victoria’s Secret, the Christian Siriano Collection! The collection interprets the themes of his Fall 2009 fashion collection with soft, luxurious textures and strong, rich colors.
As soon as I saw the gold packaging, the color palette and of course the super feminine (and yet uniquely done) ruffles on his cosmetic bag – I knew I had to have it – all of it.
