After six months of anticipation, Jason Wu for Lancome’s capsule collection has finally arrived in all its flirty-feminine glory. In addition to three color design eye shadow palettes (complete with helpful color charts!), the collection contains three additional pressed eyeshadow pots, three lipsticks (in varying shades of red), three nail polishes, black liquid liner, and a navy mascara. Aside from the makeup itself, Jason Wu himself actually played an important part in designing the sleek gray packaging for the collection, ensuring that it reflected his own design aesthetic. “I think it will stand out on the beauty floor because I don’t think anyone else is using gray for their collection right now,” he tells WWD. “I think the packaging part is as special as what’s inside.” Do you agree? Shop the entire collection on Nordstrom’s site, and look out for the second installment of the collaboration, due out next year!
For intense, precise lines when applying eye liner look no further than Lancome’s latest Liner Design gel liner. The smooth gel-cream texture glides on easily while lasting indefinitely. Complimenting the colors in Lancome’s latest Color Design eye shadow palettes the new gel eye liner comes in seven vibrant and bold colors while still keeping neutral tones in the line up as well. Your eyes will simply pop and electrify with colors like Emerald Seductive (emerald green), Downtown Blue (bright blue) and Dress-up Teal (Turquoise) while subtler shades in Black Fishnets (black) and Uptown Brun (brown) will flatter any eye color.
The Liner Design eyeliner gel can be applied with the Lancome Dual-End & Smudger brush that expertly applies the liner at the base of the top lid and bottom lash line. These colors are deep and luminous and made from strong pigments that hold color to the eye for long periods of time. You can create captivating and alluring looks with each stroke of the brush. Smudge-proof and water-proof the looks created by Liner Design eyeliner can be complex, smokey and dramatic. What better way to start out a night on the town than with the bat of an eye created by Liner Design and Lancome Color Design Palettes.
Available at Lancome counters in department stores and online at Lancome.com each gel eyeliner color retails for $24.

This spring, Lancome’s In Love line includes pretty, lipsticks (Rouge in Love) and of nail polishes (Vernis in Love) in soft, feminine, pastel and cheery pinks, reds and plums.
One of my favorite Vernis in Love is Beige Dentelle from the Jolis Matins range, which are fresh shades designed for daytime wear in mind. (Jolis Matins shades are identified with the letter M in the shade number).
This is the perfect nude/pink hybrid, with touch a touch of coral when applied on the nail. It is indeed very shiny, when it dries – even without a top coat. With 2-3 coats, the wear was also quite impressive, with at least 4 days before I saw any major chipping.
This is a shade I’ll keep reaching for when I don’t want a beige nail, but I want to keep it soft and light for spring and summer. – RLB

Although I’m quite the avid makeup shopper (and experimenter!), I only just recently started venturing into the realm of lipstick in place of my tried-and-true favorite glosses. That’s a pretty big deal for me – especially as someone who appreciates the room-for-error convenience of just haphazardly swiping on a quick coat of gloss and going about my business – so if I’m going to put in the extra effort of carefully applying a bold lip color, it better be fabulous and it better last! Lancome’s new line of lipsticks, Rouge in Love, strives to excel in both those areas. With a series of 21 shades (divided into three themed “moods” to suit different occasions!), Rouge in Love provides shades that are pretty and fresh enough to wear during the day, but are buildable enough to make a sexy statement for night as well. High-shine, highly pigmented, and long-lasting (up to 6 hours of freshly-applied perfection!), Rouge in Love’s shades are worth the slight splurge at $25 a pop!

I am absolutely thrilled to be one of twenty Style Coalition bloggers picked to be a part of the campaign and celebration of the launch of Lancôme’s Color Design 5 Pan Palettes. My Lancôme Color Design 5 Pan Palette was in Mauve Chérie, a perfect blend of cream, a trio of mauve hues, and a shimmery black liner.
I loved that the new Lancôme Color Design 5 Pan Palettes have super long, 8-hour wear and show you which shade to wear, where via a plastic insert found in the palette. The Lancôme website also gives a step by step guide on how to apply to get a day or an evening look, so you can seamlessly layer and blend the shades.
My video and images were shot all over midtown Manhattan & Greenwich Village, and took inspiration from my wardrobe, fast-paced life of fashion, and of course New York City, taking into consideration how the Mauve Chérie palette, and really the color mauve as a whole, makes a fitting compliment AND contrast to my style as well as the city around me. No matter what I’m wearing, I love the way that this combination of mauve shades make my light blue eyes pop, and provide a fashion-forward touch, without overpowering my outfit.
As I mention in the video, for me, luxury is time, which I never ever seem to have enough of, so the ability to quickly and conveniently whip together a professional eye shadow look in a minute via the Lancôme Color Design 5 Pan Palette is essential to keep up with my current frenetic existence.

Normally, makeup brushes are hardly something to get excited about — whether you’re gifting them, unwrapping them, or buying them for yourself. Sure, they’re a great purchase, especially when you find quality at an affordable price (nice brushes get expensive!), but you don’t typically squeal with glee upon receiving them and run off to experiment. After all, they’re usually more of a makeup necessity (if you consider cosmetics application a necessity — I sure do!) than an indulgence; in other words, brushes are something you need as opposed to something you want. However, the holiday season always seems to have a knack for transforming those ‘blah’ necessities into a totally adorable gift. Take the Lancome Holiday Brush Set, for example, a 5-piece set of brushes that covers all your bases (foundation, blush, contour, shadow, and blending) and comes in a pretty jeweled clutch! It’s perfect for the girl on your list who appreciates practical beauty gifts, but doesn’t necessarily want to be bored! And the best part? They’re recognizably holiday-festive with their shimmery grip and jeweled clutch, and therefore the ideal stocking stuffer, but not so much so that you’re unseasonably reminded of Christmas all year round!

Want a deal?
Do you feel like your wallet is a little lighter than usual? Buck up! Teen Vogue recently collaborated on a Lancome Juicy Tube offer that’s going to save you some cash… and get you double the Juicy Tube. It’s BOGO time!
Teen Vogue created their very own shade in a celebration of Juicy Tube’s 10th anniversary, and their bold pink is featured in the current July issue of the magazine. Whether you’re a beauty collector or just someone looking for a deal, you might want to consider this sale option!
What do you have to do to get this great deal?
1. Head on over to Lancome and click on the Juicy Tube page. You can access it right here: each gloss is marked at $18.
2. Buy a tube of your choice. some of our favorite colors are:
*Tickled Pink: This pinkish lip color is great for medium skin tones, and for hiding lip imperfections (uneven tone or chapped spots). It’s also more natural than the bright pinks.
*Magic Spell: Magic Spell is a berry shade that is still girly without being cotton candy-ish. It’s rich and mature enough for anyone, but it’s not too dark or matronly.
*Berry Bold: Bright pink makes no apologies. An essential summer gloss.
*Hallucination: Pure gold shimmer gloss makes for a great product to apply over lipstick than needs a boost of shine. It’s not glitter, it’s glitter’s hotter cousin.
3. Add the coupon code, TEENVOGUE, and you’ll get the new tube in your cart as well.
BOGO feels so good. Love the sales.

It was around this time last year Lancome released their first ever vibrating mascara allowing shoppers to purchase it during a sneak-peak preview sale. According to Sephora’s Blog, Lancome is releasing a new mascara brush that no one in the beauty world has ever seen before.
Not only is this mascara brush unique, it has several benefits:
* The S-curved shape allows it to grab every lash including the shortest of lashes.
* One stroke provides dramatic volume with no-clumps.
* Short, silk-like bristles bulks up lashes instantly.
* Longer bristles gives the lashes a fanned-out effect.
The brush will debut sometime this week at Sephora. Once it releases, the Sneak Preview Sale will only last for 48 hours. So, shoppers will only have two days to buy this hot new serve basis. Keep checking Sephora.com blog for any updates. It’s coming ladies, so get excited!!
