Cotton Summer Scarves – The Warm Weather Accessory Must Have

Summerscarf

Summer scarves are a must for warm weather dressing. I never leave home without one. Where I live, it never really gets warm enough to go without some sort of cover-up, at least at night, so I always need to carry my wrap of choice with me. Summery-themed scarves just make the most sense for this conundrum. Cotton summer scarves are available in lighter and brighter shades so they add a warm weather feel. This is perfect to layer over sweaters or over a blazer, it adds warmth without the bulkiness or dull colors sometimes associated with winter months.

Jet Set Travel Essential – Tee Class Travel Wrap

Travelwrap
I love having something cozy to travel in. I always cram the most I can into the smallest amount of space. This "something cozy" must be light weight, wrinkle-free and easily rolled then shoved into my carry on. I've found the perfect thing: the White and Warren Travel Wrap. At first I thought it was one of those drapey, wrappy cardigans, but it's actually a long, luscious scarf made out of comfy jersey t-shirt fabric. And it comes in just about any color you can imagine, so it helps make your travel outfit that much more fashionable.

You could easily get away with wearing a black tunic and leggings, or a jeans and a white tank and throwing one of these on.  The travel wrap is long and wide and can double as a travel throw, but since  it's made of t-shirt fabric it can easily fit in small spaces.

Scarves are a must-have when traveling and flying, and this one is a perfect addition to your airplane wardrobe – plus it'll be great to have when you get to your destination, too, whether it's winter or summer!

Scarves

I just got an email from Italy about the blue plaid scarf Katie Holmes wore to Urth Cafe on St Patrick's Day last week. I believe the blue plaid scarf is made by A Peace Treaty and is sold out.

Strategize to Accessorize – Ruffled Striped Nautical Scarf

Stripedrufflescarf

I don't usually tackle only one item in a post, but this ruffled, nautical striped scarf was just so cute, I had to give it special priority. I'm a scarf addict – not so much because they're pretty or cute or beautiful – although obviously they can be all those things! – but because they're utilitarian. I can be covered nearly from  head to toe, and if my neck is bare, I'll be freezing! So I had a vast collection of scarves that not only accessorize to make an adorable outfit, but also keep me warm and toasty.

I particularly love this scarf because it's a bit more spring-y. Let's face it – spring doesn't always mean warmth, but on colder nights you don't want to look like you're bundled up for a blizzard! This scarf incorporates one of my favorite things about spring and summer – the nautical look – with a fresh, girly look. You could easily throw this on with a white t-shirt and jeans and look seasonably fresh!
