The doctor bag has gone from solely functional to functional and fashionable. This new combination is right up my alley. I am always interested in seeing new version of doctor bags. There are some doctor bags that you look at and notice its classic shape right away. Then there are other options, like the Carlos Falchi Rivet-Detailed Leather Doctor Bag, where the doctor bag theme is understated. Carlos Falchi knows how to take a classic design and put a modern spin on it.

This dark, navy blue leather handbag is fabulous. The intricate studded design and drawstrings along the sides adds a nice simple yet edgy feel to the bag. The interior boasts logo lining, tons of pockets, a money clip, pen holders and a center zip divider. All of the storage options are fantastic for a larger handbag like this. With the large size of the bag, storage options means that you can place your must-have items within a hands grab. Pyramid Stud Earrings with a Glam Twist!

Pyramid studs are popping up everywhere this fall: on belts, handbags, shoes, and now jewelry. My favourite bracelet of the moment is a black leather band with a double row of gold tone pyramid studs; somehow, it manages to dress up even the most basic outfit. Now I’m hunting for a pair of stud earrings, and here are the two standouts, both edgy and glam! Add a little texture and pavé stones to the mix, and they’re golden in my ears. Studded Denim: BUY or D.I.Y.

Studs seem to be garnishing all things stylish this summer and fall. Metal studs in all shapes and finishes are embellishing everything from handbags, belts, boots, and of course denim. Denim trends this fall include destroyed jeans, skinny silhouettes and embellished studded jeans are hot, hot hot! Jeans are dyed black and dark with pop art colors infusing inspiration from the ’80s.  Look for pyramid studs, detailed stud designs in the form of pocket logos and outlining pockets, seams, and cuffs.

Denim of Virtue does a dark studded wash peep toe skinny jean with pyramid studs on the cuff and back. Cut off shorts from Blank Denim have a double row of pyramid studs across the back pocket. These shorts will add a bit of punk glam to your summer look. Frankie B.’s Stud F Pocket in Fuzzy Blue have a large signature logo across the back pockets in white and are accented with small studs.

If you are the crafty type and dare to do the D.I.Y. version of studded denim there are tools such as the Gematic and various sizes of pyramid studs available. Be sure to practice on a piece of scrap fabricl first, as you don’t want to ruin your favorite jeans with a crash course in stud application.

Heavy Metal – Grommet Embellished Tees

If you're like me, you often simply want to throw on a t-shirt and jeans, but that feels too boring and plain. As a solution to this problem, I began looking for embellished tees that would add a bit more style and pizazz to a look, that could take me from a lazy Saturday to meeting friends at a trendy lounge. I stumbled upon the grommeted style, and although it sounds like unusual hardware to add to a girly top, I think the hard/soft contrast works quite well.

This fantastically trendy, drapey grommeted top fits just the criteria laid out above. There's some flare to this look that you just won't find in a regular, plain jane t-shirt. 

But the grommeted look doesn't have to apply to just tees – although we wouldn't suggest mixing in too many grommets! You should probably pick one place to let them shine. And another option is a fashionable clutch featuring these add-ons.

No matter what look you choose, this is a great way to try something new!
