Lindsay Lohan Working for Emanuel Ungaro

Does Lindsay know fashion?

Lindsay Lohan finally has a job in fashion! And we hope it will involve more than leggings. We’re not really sure how we feel about Lindsay Lohan’s fashion sense, but apparently Emanuel Ungaro trusts her as he just allowed her to sign on to his company as artistic advisor.

One thing is for certain, Ungaro is going to get a whole lot of attention having Lindsay working for them. And Emanuel knows this. He says, “I think the noise level around Lindsay will be very, very big.” Even if we don’t love it, we’ll definitely be paying attention to it.

The fashion house also just hired on a new head designer, Estrella Archs. And the first Archs/Lohan collection will deubt during Fashion Week in Paris on October 4. How exciting! Lindsay Lohan sees this as an opportunity better than what most celebrities have and says, “To be in a position where I’m working with a fashion house in Paris sets it apart from every other celebrity brand.”

We can’t wait to see how the new Ungaro line looks. Do you think people will take well to it or do you think they’ll avoid anything bearing Lindsay Lohan’s name?

Vintage Pick Of The Day: U is for Ungaro

Trina Turk launched her colorful fashion brand in 1995 and says there are no bad colors, just bad color combinations. And while so many women despair that they just don’t know how to put colors together, I believe you instinctively know what colors look good on you and which colors flatter you most. It’s all about trusting yourself more and worrying less.

Of course, you can always rely on the experts to help you out. Ease your suffering by choosing prints that pop by designers who know their way around color. For instance, today’s VPOD features an ultra-colorful and ultra-fabulous 1980s vintage silk skirt by Ungaro. With its high waist, side pockets, four buttons and wicked print, simply add a tee or blouse in black or white and you’ll be set to go.

It’s a chic and colorful find for a vintage fashionista!
