Using this pre-spattered knife to chop veggies while you’re alone will make you smile; using it in front of others (hello, neighbor from down the street who already thinks my yard is unkempt and my judgment is questionable!) will make you snicker.

Green Up Your Life With Compostable Picnic Ware

ecopicnic
If you are planning a picnic this summer take time to consider how it will effect the environment. Of course, re-usable glassware or non-plastic picnic ware is optimal in terms of reducing waste. But let’s face it – sometimes that just isn’t feasible! So when those occasions arise, why not use a more eco-friendly picnic option, like compostable cups and compostable picnicware. I’ve been happy to see that a lot of my local hangouts and eateries are converting to this type of disposable option.

Make your event more eco-friendly by opting for utensils, cups and plates that can be recycled or composted. But then make sure you have a place for your friends to recycle and/or compost these items afterwards.
