Cinco de Madras
I'll take any excuse to add some "flair" to my wardrobe - and a festive day like Cinco de Mayo will do just fine! I was scouring my wardrobe to try and come up with something to wear when i realized i didn't have anything that was "quite right." That's when Madras came to mind. The vibrant colors of a typical Madras pattern are staples of traditional Mexican dress, but they'll serve you well as we continue into the summer months ahead. What better way to kick off your summer than with a particularly colorful outfit?!
I love this shirt because it's a totally cute, girly, "night out on the town" top. The pattern isn't overwhelming, but it's there, adding an element of surprise to a great, adorably pink top.
These shoes couldn't be passed up. They are a cross between preppy and festive, and I love that they're not too loud. These could totally be paired with the above top without looking over done.
So pick up some Madras and let the summer fun begin!
