TheFind.com Unveils Innovative New Site Features Just In Time for Holiday Shopping

Just Launched Offerings Let Consumers See Results from Specific Store Groups Such As Boutiques or Well-Known Department Stores, Virtually Shop Famous Shopping Destinations, and More

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--TheFind, Inc., the leading shopping search engine and web destination for discovering lifestyle goods, today announced multiple new features enabling a richer and more targeted shopping experience. The following four new features - launched today – have arrived just in time for the holiday shopping season:

Looking for distinctive gifts, and need to see only products from unique boutiques? Just want to see what’s available at the major department stores? Now, with TheFind.com’s Mini-Malls, you can! The new Mini-Mall feature now lets consumers search and quickly see just the matching products from a select group of stores – you can choose from Boutiques, Department Stores, Mall Stores & National Retailers or The Marketplace, which turns up results from online marketplaces like eBay.

Sample Mini-Mall searches:

    * Diamond earrings from boutiques
    * Crib bedding from mall stores
    * Cashmere sweater from department stores

Want to spend a day shopping in Beverly Hills or New York City – but don’t live nearby? Introducing virtual shopping districts! TheFind.com has created special Mini-Malls that bring fashion hot spots Rodeo Drive and 5th and Madison directly to consumers across the country. Online shoppers simply select the Rodeo Drive tab or the 5th and Madison tab located at the top of the search results, and the products from just the retailers that have storefronts in these exclusive regions will instantly be shown. Consumers can effectively shop these high-profile destinations from the comfort of their own home or office - regardless of where they physically reside.

Sample Rodeo Drive and 5th and Madison searches:

    * Cropped Jacket on Rodeo Drive
    * Tunic on 5th and Madison

Interested in more product information, or products related to your chosen item? New mouse-over product page display delivers!

TheFind.com has also enhanced its mouse-over page, which appears when you drag your mouse over any product displayed in the results. The mouse-over page now shows all the product specific information at a glance, without the consumer having to click through to another Web site. In addition, mouse-over page also shows shoppers related products, such as a matching purse, shoes, and/or bracelet, which the store also recommends. Finally, merchants have a targeted advertising location at the bottom of the mouse-over to include sale notifications and money-saving coupons, as well as links directly to the retailer’s site.

Making a List, Checking It Twice? MyFinds enhancement adds personalization with simplified shopping list management!

Continuing the quest to deliver the simplest, most comprehensive and personalized shopping experience, TheFind.com will now offer even more search personalization via its newly expanded capabilities of the MyFinds bar. Users will now have their “recent searches,” “recently viewed” items, and “recently saved” items all housed within the MyFinds bar, which serves as a powerful bookmarking tool for busy holiday shoppers. Search now, save items for later. Users can also email items from the items in MyFinds to friends and family, creating a perfect tool for shoppers to share products and lists throughout the holidays.

“Our core belief is that our shopping search engine should give consumers access to the full scope of what is available from all the online stores, but without having to sift through hundreds of search results that don’t fit their needs. We’re continually enhancing this process for shoppers – adding new features, search categories and simple ways for them to share their finds with friends and family,” said Siva Kumar, CEO of TheFind, Inc. “Shopping online is supposed to save time and energy, especially around the holidays, and we’re here to make sure that is always the case when it comes to pinpointing the right products from the right store for each shopper.”

TheFind.com crawls more than 500,000 stores on the Web to find more than 200 million products across all shopping categories. Its unmatched Web search ability includes access to unique and hard-to-find boutiques, brand stores and hip, must-have products. TheFindGreen Kicks off Eco-Conscious ‘‘Color for a Cause’’ Campaign

‘‘Green’’ Shopping Searches on TheFindGreen Will Benefit Global Green USA; Josie Maran Cosmetics Joins November Campaign as Lead Supporter

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--TheFindGreen, the leading shopping search engine specifically devoted to finding eco-conscious and green products, today announced that it has launched a campaign to benefit a leading environmental charity. For the next four weeks, eco-friendly consumer searches on the TheFindGreen that include the word “green” will generate $1 per search for Global Green USA and support the organization’s newly launched membership campaign.

Josie Maran Cosmetics, a Global Green supporter and innovative cosmetics company dedicated to developing environmentally responsible beauty alternatives, has also endorsed the charitable campaign. Model, actress, and Josie Maran Cosmetics founder, Josie Maran, has penned an open letter to TheFindGreen consumers highlighting the importance of making ecologically sound shopping decisions in today’s world.

TheFindGreen, launched by TheFind, Inc. in September 2007, is a shopping search engine that offers consumers quick and easy access to green-friendly fashion, home, and lifestyle items, each of which has been created through practices and materials that promote the conservation and preservation of the earth’s natural resources.

“Global Green has been a tremendous educator about the current crises that face the environment, and we are honored to benefit such a well-respected charitable organization,” said Siva Kumar, CEO of TheFind, Inc. “Simple choices and changes in our daily living and purchasing habits can have a marked, positive impact on the environment, and via ‘Color for a Cause’ can simultaneously benefit a strong, green charity. Through TheFindGreen, we’re making it easier than ever to change the way we live simply by choosing responsible products, and we’re thrilled to support Global Green, which clearly encompasses like-minded ideals.”

TheFindGreen is encouraging consumers to support Global Green USA by choosing products across the lifestyle category – such as beauty, household products, fashion and sustainable furniture - that preserve and protect the environment.

Global Green supporter Josie Maran recently launched her own cosmetics line, Josie Maran Cosmetics - now available on TheFindGreen. Each product in her line has been developed using ecologically conscious materials and processes, representing precisely the type of innovative, green-friendly, health & beauty alternative that TheFindGreen shoppers are seeking.

"I'm thrilled to be involved in TheFindGreen's Color for a Cause Campaign to benefit Global Green USA. Anything to raise awareness about the importance of the ‘green’ movement is effort well spent," said Maran.

TheFindGreen’s “Color for a Cause” Initiative will run through December 7th, 2008. Consumers simply need to visit www.TheFindGreen.com and search for anything using the word “green” – some sample searches that will result in the donation include:

    * Green jackets
    * Green lotion
    * Green tea
    * Green jewelry
    * Green soap

Cook for Your Mom and More!

Cupcake Some Moms have it all, so they're not easy to buy gifts for. If you have a Mom like this, you may want to try cooking for her instead! I stumbled upon Cook for the Cure®, another brilliant Susan G Komen endeavor to raise money to cure breast cancer. Please note that Cook for the Cure is not your average family dinner. Instead, it's a dinner party where the dinner party attendees bring donations for the foundation. It's pretty brilliant, really. Why not donate money for Mother's Day instead of buying gifts?!? You could host a Mother/Daughter Cook for the Cure dinner if you'd like. Of course it could be a Mother/Son or Mother/Child dinner, whatever strikes your fancy! Heck, you could host a table for everyone's dogChelsea_6s too if you want to get them in on the fun. Isn't half of America hosting dog birthday parties these days anyways. Gone are the "kids tables" of yesteryear...make way for the "dog tables!" Okay, I'm being silly, but I wouldn't be surprised if somebody did host a "dog table" at a formal dinner gathering. And you know what, I say, more power to them! As a side note, I did attend a horse's 2nd birthday party last summer. It was a Barbie theme because we all refer to this prissy little horse as "Barbie." She's a Palamino with long blonde hair and she's not a fan of getting dirty. How else would you describe a horse like that?

Sorry, I've digressed. If you perform any searches on thefind.com, then you know that we've been raising money for Susan G Komen for the Cure by donating $1 for each pink search performed everyday (one per person, per day). TheFind is a very community-centric company and we're really vested in doing good things and raising money for great causes. As I mentioned at the beginning of this post, I stumbled upon this dinner party idea and thought it would be fun for Mother's Day. I was thrilled to find out that this also benefits the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Foundation!

The Cook for the Cure site is great! They give you all the tools you need to plan and organize your party: invitations, recipes, menus, coordinating donations and more. I'm thinking about planning a dinner party for both Mothers and Fathers along with their children to celebrate a Mother's Day and Father's Day   together. What do you think?

Get into the spirit with some pink and white decorations. There are quite a few pink ribbon decorations that you can use the set the tone for the party.

Happy Partying/Searching/Shopping,
Payton

Shopping in the Pink

I'm really excited about our current community effort "Color for a Cause!" Today I'm shopping for all kinds of fun pink things. I know, all the guys are rolling their eyes. Present any woman in your life with something pink and you're sure to put a smile on her face. Besides, you don't have to actually purchase anything to participate. You just search for something pink and we'll donate a dollar each day that you do. Now maybe you'll be shopping in the pink with me, right?

Pink_mixerSo, I started the day off shopping for a girls pink dress for my neice. Then, I remembered that I need a new wallet. I thought it would be fun to check out the pink wallets. From there, I went on a kitchen gadget tangent...I was thinking about all the cool colors that the Kitchen Aid Mixers come in, so I searched for pink kitchen aid and found all kinds of fun (pink) stuff! I found a pink Kitchen AidPink_rocker 5-speed blender, pink Kitchen Aid toaster, pink Kitchen Aid food processors, and more.

Since I had so much fun with the pink kitchen gadgets, I thought I'd check out pink furniture. What a kick! I think my neice would really enjoy her own pink upholstered rocker and ottoman (it's a lot like her Dad's). Too cute!

Anyway, as you can see, shopping in the pink can be a lot of fun. Give it a try and let me know what you find!

Happy Pink Searching/Shopping,
Paytong

Color for a Cause - success!

Thanks to all of you, our first Color for a Cause campaign has been a
total hit.   We achieved our goal, and will be sending a $10,000 check to
the amazing charity Doctors Without Borders this week!

We will keep this going - we've heard from so many of you about the next
charity we should benefit - thank you.  Keep it coming.  Let's lead a new
generation of companies that work to benefit a consumer need
(comprehensive shopping search) and a philanthropic one (because we can -
and should).

Thanks all,
Larisa

Color for a Cause

I am thrilled to announce our first "Color for a Cause" campaign, that will
benefit Doctors Without Borders.  For every person that comes to our site
and searches for a "red" item - red coffee maker, red sweater, red wagon -
we will donate $1 per day to Doctors Without Borders.   Our goal is to raise
$10,000 - please help us get there quickly by telling your friends and
family about it!

I attended a conference a few years ago that changed my life - it was the
California Governor's Conference for Women and Families.   I was fortunate
enough to be invited by AOL to attend, and I am so thankful for that day.
Prior to that event, I guess I thought of myself as a concerned citizen, who
occasionally donated to charity - but I didn't think I had the time or
resources to do much else.

There were some amazing, inspirational people at that conference.  There
were every-day people who overcame great obstacles (poverty, violence,
addiction) and turned themselves around.  These folks went on to volunteer
their time and energy to helping others through those same struggles.  The
stories they told were amazing.

There were also well-known and successful women executives, authors,
political figures, artists, scientists - even royalty - at the conference.
It actually made me realize that each of us - regardless of our fame, wealth
or station in life - can always look for ways to benefit others.

That is why I am excited to announce this campaign.  I hope to make this a
recurring event, and would love to hear your thoughts about other charities
you want us to benefit.  Our shopping search engine has been live for just
over a month now, and we are growing and improving every day.   Our public
beta is well under way, and we continue to listen to feedback and make
improvements.  Thanks for stopping by and we always love to hear from you -
email us at talk@thefind.com or post your comments below.

Thank you!
Larisa
